Job Summary:
The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our organization. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of hardware and software components, addressing any technical issues that may arise throughout the engineering process. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for conducting thorough analyses, providing technical recommendations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement electrical systems, including hardware and software components, to meet project requirements and specifications.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system architectures, interfaces, and integration plans.
3. Conduct thorough analyses and evaluations of system performance, reliability, and safety to identify potential issues and recommend necessary modifications.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the design and development process.
5. Collaborate with electrical design engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into larger systems, identifying and resolving any technical issues.
6. Support the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery.
7. Conduct testing and verification activities to validate system functionality and performance.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including system specifications, design drawings, test procedures, and technical reports.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in electrical engineering and systems integration, incorporating relevant technologies as appropriate.
10. Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to source components and ensure their compatibility with the system requirements.
11. Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving throughout projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience working as a Systems Engineer in the electrical engineering domain.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, integration, and analysis.
4. Proficient in the use of relevant software tools and applications related to electrical engineering and systems integration.
5. Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations governing electrical systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
7. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
